SCAN DISPLAY DURBAN LAUNCHES ITS NEW HOME

Scan Display’s Durban branch recently hosted a client cocktail party to celebrate its move into larger offices. The party was held at the branch’s new premises in Briardene, where clients were entertained by an Afro Jazz band.

Scan’s MD, Justin Hawes, says: ”Our Durban office has grown considerably in the past couple of years making a move to larger premises inevitable. We are pleased to now have a print studio on site which will mean a quicker turnaround time for graphics and applications.”

Scan has been operating in KwaZulu-Natal since 2004 and has a team of account executives, exhibition designers, graphic designers and production staff committed to the region.

The Durban team was responsible for the design and production of the award-winning Three Cities Group stand at Indaba 2008. The exhibit won a Platinum award at the show, as well as the Exhibition & Event Association of Southern Africa’s (EXSA) 2008 Best Stand award in the ‘Custom Large’ category.

Scan Display is a specialist provider of display, exhibition and presentation products extending from large custom-built stands and portable systems to banner systems, brochure holders, display cases and clip frames. Scan also offers the full range of exhibition services including shell scheme, carpeting, electrics and furniture rental.

Feed the Babies Fund has been in existence since 1957. It started originally in the Cato Manor area and now feeds thousands of babies and children in the Province of Kwazulu Natal. The Fund is a non profit organisation and not subsidised in any way, relies completely on donations and any fundraising events, which we are able to undertake. As you are well aware with cost escalations each year, it becomes harder and harder for us to raise the necessary funds to be able to continue feeding all these children and there is little or no money left over for us to purchase items for our everyday needs. We at Feed the Babies Fund are appealing to you please for some display items, such as A4 hlders, Brochure holders and clip frames which we use at shopping centres, flea markets, the Baby Expo etc. We would be most grateful if you could help us in this way. Many thanks. Kind regards, Shirley
